One of the key activities implemented by the Regional Development Agency (RDA) within the mountain tourism module is the ongoing support provided to the Mountain Rescue Service of Montenegro (GSS)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Mountain Rescue Service is a national, humanitarian, and professional organization performing tasks of public interest by rescuing people in inaccessible mountain areas. For a year, with the support of RDA and the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, a series of trainings has been organized to expand the service’s capacity to Kola\u0161in and \u017dabljak<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

Equipping Rescuers:<\/strong> To address the lack of rescue gear in these areas, the USAID Economic Growth Project allocated funds for the procurement of additional equipment. The total value of this project is \u20ac35,000<\/strong>, with the delivery of this valuable equipment scheduled for January.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
