RDA BKP is a recipient of the 2015 Democracy Commission Small Grants Program, awarded by the U.S. Embassy for a project dedicated to rural tourism.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

The project focuses on the empowerment of women in rural areas through tourism<\/strong>, with the main goal of strengthening and promoting female entrepreneurship. The initiative will last 12 months and will be implemented in the municipalities of Plav, Gusinje, Berane, and Andrijevica.<\/p>\n

Expected Project Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Service Provider Database:<\/strong> Establishing a database of at least 60 households as potential agro-tourism providers following field assessments.<\/li>\n
  • Capacity Building:<\/strong> Organizing training sessions and a study tour for at least 20 women to enhance rural household service quality.<\/li>\n
  • Product Promotion:<\/strong> Developing and promoting a new tourism product through fairs and materials, reaching at least 5,000 people.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    Local Impact<\/h4>\n

    This project marks a significant step towards the economic independence of women in Northern Montenegro by integrating traditional skills into the region’s modern tourism offering.<\/p>\n
