Both objectives will be achieved through coordinated results and a set of activities dedicated to these results:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Result 1:<\/strong> Improved outdoor tourism infrastructure<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Develop a network of at least 300 km of hiking and cycling trails connecting Kosovo and Montenegro, offering multiple options for visitors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Establish at least two thematic trails linking Kosovo and Montenegro.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Equip one rock-climbing site with 20 new climbing routes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Provide rest areas, viewpoints, and signage for water sources throughout the border area.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Install bicycle parking facilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><strong>Result 2:<\/strong> Standardized cross-border information available to tourists and agencies<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Present the complete outdoor offer of the area to visitors through GPS trek logs, electronic and printed maps.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Install around 50 information boards with maps.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Develop a mobile application for Android and iOS, as well as a web portal showcasing the entire cross-border offer, facilitating access to information for tourism agencies on both sides of the border.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><strong>Result 3:<\/strong> Promotional activities to increase visibility of the target area as an outdoor destination<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Install at least 6 billboards at entrances to the Prokletije area.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Print 5,000 leaflets presenting the entire area as one destination.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Produce a promotional video.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Organize 2 outdoor festivals.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span><strong>Lead Applicant:<\/strong> Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi, and Prokletije <strong>Partner in Montenegro:<\/strong> Tourism Organization of Plav <strong>Partners in Albania:<\/strong> Regional Development Agency WEST and Municipality of Peja<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Project Title: Prokletije \u2013 An Excellent Outdoor Destination Donor: EU \u2013 IPA CBC MNE\u2013KOS Project Value: EUR 424,724.73 Donor Contribution: EUR 360,994.40 Implementation Period: 01 February 2019 \u2013 01 February 2021, extended until 01 June 2021 General Objective: Increase the scope, quality, and visibility of tourism.
