In Northern Montenegro, 328 caves<\/strong> have been located, with about 45 km of underground channels. The region boasts \u017deljezna jama<\/strong> (-1162 m), the deepest pit in the country, and the longest cave system, Pe\u0107ina nad Vra\u017ejim firovima, stretching over 17.5 km.<\/p>\n

Bijelo Polje: The Underground Giants<\/h4>\n

The Cave above Devil\u2019s Firs<\/strong> is the highlight of the region, featuring 17 km of labyrinths and the massive \u201cCathedral\u201d hall. Nearby, Novakovi\u0107a Cave<\/strong> remains a protected site shrouded in legends of hidden treasure, while Osoja Cave<\/strong> fascinates visitors with its 6 m tall “Snowman” formation.<\/p>\n

Mojkovac is home to \u010cav\u010danica<\/strong>, an 800 m long cave rich in ornaments and sediments. In Petnjica, the Radmanske Caves<\/strong> in the Radmanska gorge offer immense archaeological value, specifically the Torine site, which is among the richest Neolithic locations in Montenegro.<\/p>\n
