Organized by the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, the 10th anniversary of the “Wild Beauty Award 2014”<\/strong> was held on December 23rd at Hotel “Lipka” in Kola\u0161in.<\/p>\n

This prestigious event, celebrating contributions to the quality, affirmation, and promotion of Montenegrin tourism, was held under the patronage of the President of Montenegro, Filip Vujanovi\u0107, with the presence of the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Branimir Gvozdenovi\u0107, and numerous dignitaries.<\/p>\n

Recognition for the Regional Development Agency and Partners<\/h3>\n

The Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi, and Prokletije (RDA BKP) once again earned the Wild Beauty Commendation<\/strong>, this time for the documentary “People of the Accursed Mountains,”<\/strong> produced in collaboration with AMC Communications<\/em> from Budva. The film explores protected areas and their direct impact on the economic development of local communities.<\/p>\n

We take special pride in the Wild Beauty Commendation awarded to the Kljaji\u0107 family<\/strong>, recognized for their outstanding success in rural tourism development. The Kljaji\u0107 family has worked closely with our agency from the very beginning, participating in training and service improvement processes, leading to this significant national award.<\/p>\n

About the Film: Economy and Heritage Preservation<\/h3>\n

The documentary we present is not only a visual journey through the rugged landscapes of Prokletije National Park but also a study on the unbreakable bond between nature conservation and sustainable living. The story focuses on protected zones and the benefits they bring to the population through ecotourism development and the promotion of authentic products.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    This film is a testament to how the protection of natural resources can become a driver for the local economy, while preserving the spirit and dignity of the people who have defied the peaks of Prokletije for centuries.<\/p>\n
