The Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije now has five licensed trainers for the Good Travel Seal – a prestigious certification for sustainable tourism. This significant development enables the agency to provide expert support and guidance to rural tourism households in Montenegro, helping them improve their sustainability and market competitiveness.

The trainer training and certification process was supported through the Montenegro SDG Acceleration Fund, implemented by UNDP Montenegro. Thanks to this support, RDA Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije can now directly assist rural tourism households in meeting the criteria for sustainable tourism and environmental responsibility.

The Good Travel Seal is an internationally recognized certification system that assesses the sustainability of tourism businesses based on environmental, social, and economic criteria. Through this program, our trainers will work with rural household owners, providing guidelines for improving ecological practices, preserving cultural heritage, and enhancing service quality.

This step is part of the broader commitment of RDA Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije to supporting the development of authentic and responsible tourism that valorizes the natural and cultural resources of our region.
