General Objective: Improve the quality and diversify the tourism offer based on natural and cultural heritage.

Specific Objective: Strengthen rural tourism as part of the tourism offer in protected zones and areas of natural beauty. This will be achieved through a set of activities dedicated to the following results:

Result 1: Cultural and rural resources near natural attractions and protected zones are mapped and mobilized.

• Activities:
  1. Identification, mapping, and formulation of a strategy for valorization of potentials for rural tourism development in the cross-border area.
  2. Development of new services in rural tourism in the cross-border area.

Result 2: Rural households supported to provide tourism services.

• Activities:
  1. Improvement of tourism infrastructure in the cross-border area.
  2. Enhancement of the institutional framework for categorization of rural tourism accommodation in Sarajevo Canton through knowledge transfer from Montenegrin practice.
  3. Strengthening the capacities of rural households to provide services in rural tourism.

Result 3: Cultural heritage properly presented and promoted as part of the overall tourism offer based on natural potentials.
