The Municipality of Kolašin utilized regional development funds to enhance local infrastructure and energy efficiency by updating the feasibility study for biomass heating.
Remaining funds were allocated for the development of technical documentation for a riverside pedestrian zone near the town center. This project aims to revitalize the riverfront area, creating new spaces for residents and tourists while highlighting Kolašin’s natural assets.
EU Funding and Reforms: The prepared documentation allowed the municipality to successfully apply for EU funding. The initiative was submitted under the Local Self-Government Reform Support Project, marking a significant step toward the modernization of the urban core.
