Project Overview The Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije, in partnership with the Municipality of Berane, is implementing the project “Local Employment Partnership Initiative – ILEP.” The project is realized with the financial support of the EU through the IPA II Annual Action Programme for Montenegro for 2020 and is implemented from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.
General Objective To improve the employability and inclusion of the long-term unemployed in the labor market within the wood processing and tourism sectors through a local employment partnership initiative.
Specific Objectives * Specific Objective 1: Created conditions for the opening of new jobs and increased employment opportunities in the wood processing sector.

Specific Objective 2: Improved competencies and employability of hard-to-employ groups in the wood processing and tourism sectors.
Project Results

Result 1: New jobs created in the wood processing sector through the implementation of new technical solutions and the inclusion of the unemployed.

Result 2: Strengthened capacities of the unemployed by providing certified training in wood processing and tourism services.
