Project Overview: The project is based on interventions that strengthen the capacities of small businesses in the rural region of northern Montenegro.

It relies on available regional resources, combining human, natural, and cultural heritage. The focus is on rural tourism, which represents a viable economic opportunity for residents of less developed rural areas of Montenegro, supporting employment and creating income opportunities for women and youth.

Implementation Activities:

  1. Small-scale investments in technical capacities of beneficiaries to improve conditions for family businesses providing tourism services.
  2. Promotional activities to help small businesses present themselves to the tourism market.

General Objective: Improve the capacity of rural households to provide tourism services.

Direct Impact:

  • Development of 8 small businesses in the tourism sector.
  • Beneficiaries will receive tangible benefits through investments in traditional old houses and increased presence in the tourism market.
  • Selected households will serve as examples of good practice in their communities, inspiring other families with similar conditions.
  • The project aims to help local communities recognize the potential for small business development.
