Project Description: The main goal of the project “Cross-Border Youth Entrepreneurship” was to contribute to the development of entrepreneurship in the cross-border area (Serbia and Montenegro) by strengthening ties among young people. The specific objective was to improve conditions for youth entrepreneurship among high school students and active young entrepreneurs in the cross-border region.

Main Results:

  1. Improved entrepreneurial skills and knowledge among high school students – Student company programme.
  2. Established network of young potential and active entrepreneurs in the cross-border area.
  3. Raised awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship for socio-economic development.

Project Activities:

  • Five high schools from the region (Kolašin, Mojkovac, Berane, Plav, and Rožaje) participated, with a total of 209 students engaged in capacity-building activities and founding student companies.
  • Teachers were trained to implement these activities.
  • A Youth Entrepreneurship Fair was organized in Berane, followed by a camp in Kolašin for the best student companies.
  • Recommendations were prepared for decision-makers on the importance of introducing entrepreneurship as a regular school subject.
  • All participating schools received equipment necessary for project implementation: computers, printers, projectors, and entrepreneurship-themed books for school libraries.
