Project Overview
The core objective of the FaRInn project was to improve basic conditions and lay the foundations for a model of responsible innovations across South East Europe. This model is built on the principles of sustainability, social responsibility, and an enhanced quality of life, aiming to align innovation processes with societal needs.
Main Objectives:
- Promoting interregional exchange of best practices and experiences regarding responsible innovation.
- Analyzing current situational threats and opportunities within partner countries.
- Strengthening the capacity of innovation actors to design and execute strategic frameworks.
- Designing and testing responsible innovation policy models across diverse program areas.
Key Results and Pilot Activities
1. Strategic Planning and Knowledge Transfer
The project resulted in the development of local and transnational action plans, providing clear recommendations for future responsible innovation policies. Lessons learned were successfully transferred to at least three additional regions, ensuring the long-term impact of the initiative.
2. Awareness and Capacity Building
Extensive efforts were made to raise awareness among key stakeholders and the general public regarding the benefits of responsible innovation. By strengthening the design and implementation skills of innovation actors, the project ensured that responsibility remains a cornerstone of future development strategies.
3. Practical Tools and Demonstrations
Several pilot activities were successfully implemented to provide tangible resources:
- A promotional video highlighting responsible innovation potentials in the Prokletije region.
- A comprehensive brochure featuring leaders in the field of responsible innovations.
- Practical guidelines for entrepreneurs regarding the legal framework for registering agricultural and tourism activities.
