As part of the cross-border project “Rural Tourism for Mountain Destinations”, a study visit was successfully organized for owners of rural households from the Durmitor region and Sarajevo Canton.
Objectives of the Visit
The activity aimed not only at mutual acquaintance and networking of participants, but also at creating a basis for future business cooperation between service providers from Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The study visit fosters cooperation and exchange of experiences between households on both sides of the border.
Exploring Bjelasica
During the visit to the Bjelasica region, participants had the opportunity to tour established and experienced households. Through practical field examples, guests learned about the best ways to enhance their own offers, drawing directly from successful models of rural tourism.

Such exchange of experiences is crucial for improving service quality and strengthening the tourism identity of the entire cross-border area.
