The “Slavko Šćekić” Memorial Paragliding Tournament was held on July 28, 2012, in Budimlja, with take-offs from the slopes of Jejevica Mountain.
The competition was successfully organized by paragliding clubs “Naša krila,” “Sky,” and “Orao,” along with the local Tourism Organization Berane. Featuring a large number of participants from Montenegro and neighboring countries, the event served as an excellent promotion for extreme sports in the region.
Tourism Potential: There is a strong interest among organizers to maintain this tradition, further contributing to tourism development in the northern region. This year’s event was financially supported by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA), through the RDA, and USAID.
