We continue with intensive fieldwork and strengthening the capacities of our dedicated hosts. Recently, we organized another successful gathering and a series of trainings for katun residents in the municipalities of Šavnik, Plužine, and Mojkovac.
Trainings for Rural Tourism
The main focus of the meetings was on training for service provision in rural tourism. By working directly with the guardians of our tradition, we aim to improve service quality and help them present their authentic offer in the best possible way.
New Katun Route
We are especially pleased that their authentic stories, experiences, and the spirit of mountain life will become part of the new katun route currently being developed. With this project, we want to further connect natural beauty with cultural heritage, creating a unique route for all lovers of rural tourism.

About the Project
The trainings were carried out through the project “Joint Actions for Rural Tourism Development”. Our agency implements this project in partnership with the Municipality of Šavnik and the Tourist Organization “Zlatar”.
The project is part of the IPA Cross-border Cooperation Programme Serbia–Montenegro 2021–2027, co-financed by the European Union. Together, we are creating new opportunities for the development of the north and the promotion of sustainable tourism.
