Project Summary

The core objective of the INERRANT project is the establishment of an innovative ecosystem that bridges research and entrepreneurial actors. Built on the logic of public–private cooperation, the project fosters cross-border dialogue, strengthens collaborative research, and enhances the region’s capacity to attract private capital.

Specific Objectives:

• Promoting new innovative startups and fostering cooperation among key territorial stakeholders.
• Supporting knowledge exchange and the mobility of professional talent.
• Building relationships with international institutions and facilitating market placement for new products and services.

Key Results and Impact

1. International Center for Digital Innovation
The project established a center to guarantee support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This hub facilitates the exchange of specialized knowledge and promotes talent mobility, serving as a catalyst for digital transformation within the participating regions.

2. Systemic Cooperation
By developing structured cooperation between institutions, businesses, universities, and research centers, the project significantly improves international competitiveness. This network ensures that research findings are effectively translated into market-ready entrepreneurial solutions.

3. Private Capital Attraction
Through coordinated research actions and the creation of a cross-border ecosystem, the project has improved the framework for attracting private investment into high-tech and innovative research sectors.

Partnership

The project was led by Associazione degli Industriali della Provincia di Lecce (Italy). Partners included: Dhitech Distretto Tecnologico High-Tech (IT), Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana (AL), Konfindustria Shqiptare (AL), RDA – Ulcinj Business Association (MNE), and the Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije (MNE).
