A significant component of the activities of the Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi, and Prokletije is the ongoing support for the development of national parks, in long-standing cooperation with the Public Enterprise for National Parks of Montenegro.
Prokletije National Park, established in 2009 as an area of exceptional natural beauty, was identified as a priority. In coordination with park management, RDA decided to allocate funds from the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) to support the management and operational functions of this youngest national park.
Equipping and Promotion: The initiative focused on the renovation and furnishing of the park’s office in Plav with all necessary office furniture and technical equipment. Given its excellent location in the town, the office is designed to serve both as a management hub and a promotional center for visitors.
