The Mountain Hut in Suvodol, located on Bjelasica Mountain, was originally built decades ago for the forestry industry and has since been transformed into a modern facility for hikers.
While initial restoration began in 2009 through an Austrian-Montenegrin partnership, the process was fully completed in 2011 under the coordination of RDA BKP. The final reconstruction and equipping were funded by USAID, with the support of the Municipality of Berane.
Visitor Experience: Officially opened in the summer of 2011, the hut now serves as a key destination for adventurers, providing affordable accommodation and traditional local cuisine for those exploring the stunning landscapes of Bjelasica.
