RDA BKP at the Third Danube Wood(s) Route Project Partner Meeting in Sarajevo

The RDA BKP participated in the third partner meeting within the Danube Wood(s) Route project, held on April 10 and 11, 2025, in Sarajevo. The meeting was organized by the Sarajevo Economic Regional Development Agency (SERDA) and gathered partners to review progress and coordinate future activities.

Joint Strategy and Program Monitoring

During the first day, representatives of the Danube Programme (JS) joined the partners for a joint review of implementation progress. Key directions for the joint strategy were defined, establishing the mission and vision that will serve as the foundation for regional action plans across the Danube region.

The meeting also featured presentations of complementary initiatives such as SReST and Danube GeoTourPlus. These projects share common goals in tourism and the protection of natural and cultural heritage, offering valuable synergy for the Danube Wood(s) Route.

Heritage and Protected Area Management

The program included a visit to the Museum of Literature and Performing Arts of BiH, showcasing Sarajevo’s rich cultural history. On the second day, partners visited the Trebević protected area to study management practices and the preservation of natural values in high-altitude zones.

The Sarajevo meeting was instrumental for improving cooperation and specifying upcoming activities, ensuring that the project continues to move toward its long-term goals of sustainable heritage valuation.
