General Objective: Economic development of the programme area through cooperation and joint initiatives.
Specific Objective: Promotion of economic development through sustainable valorization of tourism, forestry, and agricultural potentials.
Expected Results:
- Improved infrastructure for tourism in mountain pastures (katuns): tracing and marking of the thematic trail “Katun Road,” provision of solar systems for 49 households, construction of rest areas and camps in 5 katuns along the trail.
- Increased capacities of rural population for providing tourism services: training for rural households, study visit.
- Promotion of unique values of katuns as drivers of agriculture and tourism development: preparation of promotional brochures, billboards and info boards, promotional video material, creation of a portal, promotional tour of the trail with tourism agencies.
