The Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi, and Prokletije has successfully completed two projects funded by the Government of Montenegro.
The first project involved establishing mountain biking trails in Bjelasica. A 194 km network was created, covering some of the most beautiful and previously unvalorized parts of the mountain. In collaboration with The Northern Way club, the trails feature signage with innovative QR codes for immediate access to GPS logs.
Katuns as Cultural Heritage: The second project focused on creating a unique publication documenting the history, customs, and traditional way of life in shepherd settlements (katuns), highlighting their vital role in the region’s overall tourism offer.
