Workshop On Agro Tourism Held In Andrijevica

Yesterday in Andrijevica, the first of three workshops dedicated to skill development in rural tourism was held for women from Plav, Gusinje, and Andrijevica.

A group of 21 women participated, selected by the Regional Development Agency following extensive field research. The training was conducted by the Montenegro Adventures travel agency from Podgorica, led by Slavica Vukčević. This activity is part of the “Economic Empowerment of Women through Rural Tourism Development” project, funded by the U.S. Embassy in Podgorica.

Upcoming Activities: Two more workshops will follow in February and March, followed by a planned study visit to households that are already active providers of rural tourism services.

Participant Feedback

The initial feedback from the participants has been very positive. Beyond the skills acquired, they emphasized the value of meeting one another, comparing their work practices, learning about services offered across the three municipalities, and gaining new perspectives from their peers.
