Open day for female entrepreneurship held in Podgorica

Organized by the Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi, and Prokletije, a Women’s Entrepreneurship Open Day was held in Podgorica, with financial support from UNDP.

The event aimed to connect female entrepreneurs from the municipalities of Kolašin, Mojkovac, and Pljevlja with potential investors, banks, donor organizations, and companies. A total of 33 business ideas were presented, spanning sectors such as rural tourism, traditional handicrafts, and dairy and other agricultural products.

Business Outcomes: Out of the 33 ideas presented, 14 organizations showed a concrete interest in cooperation. The entrepreneurs expressed great satisfaction, viewing the event as a vital opportunity for the sustainability and growth of their small businesses.

Digital Affirmation

Further significance was added to the promotion of these business ideas through the launch of an internet portal, enabling online product sales, business promotion, and the networking of entrepreneurs with future business partners.
