The Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi, and Prokletije (RDA) now has five licensed coaches for the Good Travel Seal, a prestigious certification for sustainable tourism. This milestone enables the agency to provide professional guidance and support to rural tourism businesses in Montenegro, helping them improve their sustainability and competitiveness in the market.
The training and certification of coaches were supported through the Montenegro SDG Acceleration Fund, implemented by UNDP Montenegro. Thanks to this support, RDA Bjelasica, Komovi, and Prokletije can now assist rural tourism households in meeting the criteria for sustainable tourism and environmental responsibility.
The Good Travel Seal is an internationally recognized certification system that assesses the sustainability of tourism businesses based on environmental, social, and economic criteria. Through this program, our coaches will work closely with rural tourism providers, offering guidance on improving environmental practices, preserving cultural heritage, and enhancing service quality.
This initiative is part of RDA Bjelasica, Komovi, and Prokletije’s broader commitment to supporting the development of authentic and responsible tourism, which highlights and protects the natural and cultural resources of our region.
