The representative of RDA BKP attended the conference “Role of the civil sector in rural development of the Western Balkans”, organized by Ngo Agrogrupa in cooperation with the Ministry of agriculture and rural development of Montenegro and Steady working group for rural development of southeast Europe – SWG rrd, held in Niksic on June 6th 2012.
The aim of the conference was to support initiatives of civil society in the rural development and enhancing their mutual communication through establishing of the rural development network of Montenegro, paying a special attention to possibilities of realization of cross border IPA projects. Beside RDA BKP, the conference was attended by the representatives of Ministry of agriculture and rural development of Montenegro, MIDAS program, Ministry of sustainable development and tourism of Montenegro, SWG rrd, GiZ, SNV, local governments from northern Montenegro, NGO sector as well as the officials from Serbia, Macedonia, BIH and Albania .
The conference was closed with a protocol of formal establishing of the Rural development network of Montenegro, where RDA BKP was signed as one of the founders.
