On Sunday, June 17, 2012, the cultural route of Kolašin was officially opened, simultaneously marking the start of the summer tourist season under the theme “Breathe in Kolašin.”
The event was jointly organized by RDA BKP, the Municipality of Kolašin, the Cultural Center, the local Tourism Organization, NGO Natura, and the Kolašin Women’s Association. The festival drew a vast number of visitors from across the region and beyond, celebrating local culture and heritage.
Fair and Tradition: A major highlight was the mini-fair of homemade food and handicrafts, featuring producers of the branded “Best from Our Mountains” products. The festivities also included a competition for preparing the best “kačamak,” a traditional dish of the Montenegrin mountain region.
