As a member of Montenegrin delegation, representative of RDA BKP participated in the third international congress on rural tourism held from May 23rd to May 26th 2012 in Osijek, Croatia. The visit to the congress was organized by GIZ through the project “Support to the development of the touristic destinations in central and northern areas of Montenegro”.

Under the title “Rural tourism – driver of sustainable development” the congress assembled around 200 participants from 12 European states. The experts working on the promotion of rural tourism and the touristic offer highlighted the interaction between agricultural production, production of traditional items, presentation of tradition, traditional gastronomy and touristic services as the resources for sustainable regional development.
