As a member of the Montenegrin delegation, a representative of RDA BKP participated in the Third International Rural Tourism Congress, held from May 23rd to 26th, 2012, in Osijek, Croatia.
Titled “Rural Tourism – A Driver of Sustainable Development,” the congress brought together approximately 200 participants from 12 European countries. The visit was organized by GIZ through the project supporting the development of tourism destinations in central and northern Montenegro.
Key Development Resources: Experts emphasized the interaction between agricultural production, traditional crafts, heritage presentation, and gastronomy as vital components. This synergy with tourism services was identified as a crucial resource for achieving sustainable regional development.
