Regional Development Agency Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije, within the scope of many events named ”Još me ima“, regarding 150 anniversary of Berane founding, organized the first art colony “Berane 2012“. The Colony was organized in the mountain home Suvodo, on the foot of Bjelasica Mountain, near Kurikuce village, August 24th to August 30th. The participants were graduated painters, born in Berane, and Mrs. Merima Mima Ratkovic was Director of the Colony.
The first Art Colony Berane 2012 was finished on August 30th, with an exhibition of works in the Duke Gavro Vukovic House, and on that occasion all works were donated to Berane Municipality and the Cultural Centre. The Cultural Centre will be responsible for the organization of next Art Colony which will become a traditional manifestation.
