Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije (RDA BKP) implemented the project “Local biking trails in the municipalities of Plav and Andrijevica.” The project was implemented in three phases – during the first phase of the project, and based on input received from local partners from these two municipalities, field work was performed and biking trails defined. The second phase of the project included work on the preparation of the signalization plan, construction and installation of signalization while brochures with detailed trails descriptions and information for tourists were prepared during the third phase of the project. Total 16 routes, passing through the most attractive parts of the two municipalities, were marked through this project (9 in Plav Municipality, 7 in Andrijevica Municipality). The total length of the local biking trails included in this project is over 400 km. Signposting was conducted in accordance with the standards of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.
