On July 28th, 2012. the memorial tournament in paragliding “Slavko Šćekić” was held. The tournament was held in Budimlja, a take-off was on the slopes of Mount Jejevica. Organizers, paragliding clubs Nasa krila, Sky and Orao and Local Tourism Organization Berane, large number of participants from Montenegro and from neighboring countries and interested guests and observers contributed to the great success of this tournament. This event also was the best promotion of this extreme sport in Montenegro. There is a lot of interest among organizers to continue with the organization of the competition, which would further contribute to the development of tourism in the northern region. This year organization of event was financially assisted by Austrian Development Agency, through RDA, and USAID.
