RDA supported tourism agency RAMS from Bijelo Polje to bring international tour operators to the region, as a follow up activity after RAMS attendance to various international tourism fairs and events. It is expected that a significant number of contracts will be signed after this, to benefit not only RAMS but the region in general
Mountain Rescue Service
In agreement with the Hiking and Biking Group within the Ministry of Tourism, at the end of 2010 RDA made agreements to assist the establishment of a Mountain Rescue Service in Kolasin (for Bjelasica) and in Zabljak (for Sinjajevina and Durmitor areas). RDA worked with Mountain rescue Service in Niksic to design the plan, and
Mojkovac prioritized construction of sidewalks and mountain hut Ckara
The working group in Mojkovac decided to propose two projects: sidewalk construction in Polja community (along the busy and dangerous main road to Zabljak) and the construction of the mountain hut on Tskara. Both projects are successfully completed.
Financing of important technical documentation for Kolasin
Kolasin used the resources from regional development component for the feasibility study update for biomass heating and the remaining funds were used for preparation of technical documentation for a pedestrian zone along the river near the centre of the town, which is then proposed to EU for funding, within Support to Local Government Reform Project.
Community Development funds approved for Andrijevica
Aside from 22,777 euro used as co-funding for EU funded road project, approximately 12,000 is meant to be used for reconstruction of two bridges, and 3,000 euros for finalization of a building for their organic fruit producers association in Konjuhe.
