In agreement with the Hiking and Biking Group within the Ministry of Tourism, at the end of 2010 RDA made agreements to assist the establishment of a Mountain Rescue Service in Kolasin (for Bjelasica) and in Zabljak (for Sinjajevina and Durmitor areas). The working group in Mojkovac decided to propose two projects: sidewalk construction in Polja community (along the busy and dangerous main road to Zabljak) and the construction of the mountain hut on Tskara. Both projects are successfully completed.
Kolasin used the resources from regional development component for the feasibility study update for biomass heating and the remaining funds were used for preparation of technical documentation for a pedestrian zone along the river near the centre of the town, which is then proposed to EU for funding, within Support to Local Government Reform Project.
