The Working Group in Bijelo Polje has proposed several small-scale projects, focusing on the reconstruction of the Zaton playground, the creation of a speleological cadastre, and youth-led environmental initiatives.
The sports field in Zaton was officially reopened on July 15, 2011, providing better recreational facilities for local youth. Additionally, the “Akovo” Mountaineering-Speleological Club launched a six-month project to document 100 caves and pits, laying the groundwork for future tourism development and research.
Engagement and Inclusion: During the 2011 Youth Festival, a two-day camp on the Bistrica River featured riverbank cleaning, fly-fishing lessons, and folklore performances. Children and staff from the “Tisa” Daycare Center for children with disabilities participated as special guests, promoting social inclusion.
