The Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi, and Prokletije, with the support of SNV, has implemented the project “Biodiversity Protection in the Prokletije Region.”
The project aimed to raise awareness about the importance of nature and the Prokletije area itself. A total of 100 students from three elementary schools in Rožaje, Andrijevica, and Plav participated in the project activities, fostering environmental values among the youth.
Field Education: Following training sessions on biodiversity, students visited the “Velemun” botanical garden in Brezojevice and the Grebaje Valley, where they had the opportunity to experience the unique flora and fauna of the Prokletije region firsthand.
