Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije with partners has implemented project of economic empowerment of women in Municipalities of Kolasin and Mojkovac, financed by UNDP Montenegro.

Partly project provided trainings for women entrepreneurs in different areas, which have been most important for successful running of their businesses, such as: communication skills, entrepreneurship, marketing, development of business plan, legal and tax regulations of Montenegro.

RDA BKP, with funds from Austrian Development Agencz, provided grants to women in both municipalities with the best businesses plans/ideas in the amount of 20.000 € in total.

Range of grants was from 500 to 2.000 €. Grants were used for purchase of equipment to enhance the production and improving the quality of products and services. Areas of operation were agriculture, agro tourism, and handicrafts.

RDA was mentoring whole process of realisation of grants towards small sustainable businesses.
