Within the scope of the second IPA programme component “ Cross border cooperation Serbia-Montenegro“, the project “ Cross Border Youth Entrepreneurship” is being implemented. This project is financed by EU, i.e. EU Delegation in Montenegro and EU Delegation in Serbia.
This project is implemented by:
Regional Development Agency for Bjelasica, Komovi and Prokletije, Berane, and Regional Agency for Spatial and Economic Development of Raski and Moravicki District, Kraljevo.
Project partners are: Directorate for Development of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, Podgorica, Business Innovation Programs, Beograd, Business Start-up Center, Kragujevac.
Specific goal of this project is enhanced conditions for entrepreneurship of youth from secondary schools and active young entrepreneurs in the cross-border area.
Target groups:
200 students from 10 high schools in Raški and Moravički District and North Montenegro.
15 young entrepreneurs from Raški and Moravički District and North Montenegro.
Regarding the schools in Montenegro, the following schools participating in the project are selected : High medical school “ Dr. Branko Zogovic”, Berane, Mixed secondary school “Vuksan Djukic”, Mojkovac, Mixed secondary school “ Braca Selic”, Kolasin, Mixed secondary school “ Beco Basic”, Plav, and Gymnasium “ 30. Septembar”, Rozaje.
During the previous period, 2 teachers from each school were selected who work with students. Teachers participated in the training related to entrepreneurship which was organized in Kraljevo. Teachers work with the groups of 20 students in each school, organizing workshops where the main subjects are entrepreneurship and creating of business plan.
At the moment, the delivery of IT equipment for schools is being organized ( lap top, multifunctional device ( copier, printer, scanner), projector, projection screen).
The students will have project benefits by getting knowledge about business planning, market analyse, entrepreneurship communication skills, negotiation and team work,experience in student enterprises management, contacts with young entrepreneurs, particiption on Youth Entrepreneurship Fair and Entrepreneurship Camp. The young, already existing entrepreneurs will be promoted by participation on the Youth Entrepreneurship Fair and Entrepreneurship Camp, by business connecttion with the partners across border, education, web portal presentation and membership in the network..
